BUILDING FUND UPDATE

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY  WAS HELD ON SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2008

As of Friday, February 25, 2007, St. Matthew Church (and the credit union) are the owners of the 12 open acres to the south of our present church building.

            Building Fund Goal:                         $200,000.00

            Building Fund Total to date:   $228,000.00

Presently the Building Committee is looking at a three stage process:

            Phase One - Fellowship Hall, Offices, Entryway

            Phase Two - Sanctuary

            Phase Three - Additional Classrooms

Plans/blueprints are posted up at church. These are exciting times!

Church "CDs"

Here is some information you might find helpful: St. Matthew Church is offering a CD/promissory note. The funds will help us as a church move ahead with our building program. The following rates and terms are available:

    1 year at 4 %

    3 years at 4 1/2 %

    5 years at 5 %

Minimum investment amount is $500.00. No interest penalty for early withdrawal. If you are interested, call Kristi Holthaus at (608) 372-2475.
