Loving
Hands is a group of about 8 women who get together to knit or crochet prayer
shawls, afghans, lap blankets, hats, mittens
and scarves. These items are
not only distributed to those who are ill in nursing homes, the VA Hospital
and assisted living facilities, but also to the Monroe County Abuse Shelter,
fire victims, or maybe someone who just needs to know they are not alone.
If
interested, please contact Grace Beltz at (608) 374-2241 or Sheryl Kolb at the
church office (608) 378-3233 for more information.
Yarn,
knitting needles and money donations are always welcome. All are welcome to
learn a new craft or simply to get together for Christian fellowship and
helping others.
The
“Loving Hands” knitting and crocheting group meets the
1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 10:15 am in the Fellowship Hall.
