A children’s Bible story lesson is taught by our pastor
during the Sunday morning Worship Service.

At 10:00AM following the sermon, the children can attend
Sunday School for singing, crafts and other activities.

SEMESTER SCHEDULE

From Pastor Enderle:

Have you ever heard the phrase, "The more things change, the more they stay the same?" I believe that to be true in so many areas of life. We could apply that statement to our new Sunday School curriculum. If went to a Christian Day School about 30-40 years ago, there is a good chance you used Elsie Egermeier's Bible Story Book.

Our Sunday School has decided to go back to this classic book (first published in the 1920's) and use these stories as the basis of our Sunday School curriculum. Every child will be given this hardcover book and when done with Sunday School it will be theirs to keep.

The Sunday School teachers at St. Matts are: Abbey Rose, director; Diane Peterson; Sheryl Kolb and Amy Sharpe. Thanks go out to Abbey for her work as well as Sheryl, Diane and Amy. All four of these members give so much of the energy and time to teach the children of St. Matthew.

Discovering the Truth About Christmas

	Ethan has a new adopted brother, Michael, who is a trivia buff.
When Michael starts busting some myths about Christmas to Ethan's friends, it causes quite a stir.
	They begin to wonder, what does the Bible really tell us?
After reading the Biblical account of the birth of Jesus, Lily and Abbey are still confused.
	Through it all, everyone learns that even though some facts about the first Christmas might not be clear,
the truth about WHY Jesus came is everywhere in Scripture.
