St. Matthew members who are currently seniors in high school or currently attending college are eligible for the Martin and Ruby Heeler, Murdock Family, & St. Matthew Lutheran Church Scholarship. Four scholarships of $750 apiece will be granted for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applicants are asked to write a 500-word typed essay. Essays must be submitted by April 30, 2023. Sunday, September 18h is Back to Church Sunday. Make plans to join us for worhsip. A new year of Sunday School begins for children in Pre-k to 6th grade and Bible Study will be offered after services. Stay for a "sundae" social in the fellowship hall. Ice cream with all the toppings will be served. We can't wait to see you.

Our pastor, Rev. Kory Janneke, has accepted a Divine Call to serve as the next pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Conway, Arkansas. Pastor Kory's farewell services in Warrens will be on Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30pm and Sunday, May 8 at 9:15am. Pastor Kory will be installed at his new church in Arkansas on Sunday, May 15. Please pray for both St. Matthew, Warrens and St. Matthew, Conway during this time of transition. Please join us for our 9:15am service on Sun, May 1. The service will include the rite of confirmation for seven young ladies of our congregation: Grace Bardeen, Abby Beck, Kira Claussen, Allegra Meacham, Kylie Moake, Elizabeth Steep, and Kadence Walker. Please pray for these young people as they are confirmed in their baptismal faith in Christ and as they continue to walk with Him throughout the years to come! The service will be followed by fellowship and refreshments (cupcakes & drinks) in St. Matthew's Fellowship Hall.
