The 40-day season of Lent begins this year on Wednesday, March 2. We will have a 6:30pm communion service on the 2nd and also begin our new midweek worship series, "The Gospel in Seven Words," which will continue through Wednesday, April 6. Please join us this Lent as we worship our Savior and grow in confessing our Christian Faith!

St. Matthews 2nd annual Mid-Winter Blues raffle benefitting Vacation Bible School and Sunday school children will begin Sunday February 27, 2022 through April 3. Many prizes are offered in this raffle. You will have the opportunity to view them and purchase raffle drawing tickets before and after each Sunday and Wednesday service February 27 through April 3. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Drawing will be after Sunday service on April 3, 2022.

On Sun, Feb 6th, Pastor Kory will introduce our new Sunday Bible Study on the Old Testament book of Isaiah. Join us each Sunday at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall as we learn how to interpret the Old Testament and to look for Jesus in Isaiah's prophecies.

On Sun, Jan 30, Middle & High School Youth are invited to go snow tubing at Whitetail Ridge (Ft. McCoy). We will meet at church at 2:00pm. Parents are also encouraged to participate as drivers and chaperones. A sign-up sheet is available in the coffee area of the church entryway. The fee for tubing will be paid by the church. Attendees are encouraged to contributed $5/person to help offset costs. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Kory or Matt Kortbein.

St. Matthew's Annual Voter's Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. At this meeting, reports will be shared by the officers of the congregation, the 2022 spending plan will be shared, and Board members will be elected. All members are encouraged to attend and participate.

Our regular weekly schedule is resuming as we begin the New Year. The 6:30pm Weds service will resume on Jan 5, followed by Catechism Class. The 9:00am Thurs Bible study on Revelation resumes on Jan 6. Sunday school will resume on Jan 9, immediately following the service.
