Mission and Music Festival

On Sun, Oct 24, we will be blessed to have Mr. Phillip Magness with us at St. Matthew. Phillip has served as a full-time parish musician and has led music for numerous special events and retreats. He currently has a dual call to Village Lutheran Church in Ladue, MO and as an LCMS missionary to French-speaking countries in West and Central Africa. He will be sharing his talents with us by accompanying our worship music for our 9:15am service. We will also be collecting a door offering for Phillip's mission work. During a potluck brunch to follow the service, Phillip will share a presentation on the good work the Lord is doing in Africa. Members are encouraged to bring "brunch food" such as egg bakes, muffins, coffee cakes, fruit, etc. As a bonus, Phillip will be providing a music workshop at St. Matthew on Sat, Oct 23 from 2:00-4:00pm for accompanists, vocalists, and those interested in the worship life of the church: "Leading and Guiding the Saints in Song: Nurturing Robust Singing in the Christian Congregation."

Fall Harvest Soup Supper

St. Matthew's annual Fall Harvest Soup Supper will be Friday, October 15 beginning at 4:30pm in St. Matthew's Fellowship Hall (4285 US Hwy 12, Warrens). Warrens Cranberry Festival

The Warrens Cranberry Festival is Sept 24-26. St. Matthew will have two significant fundraisers in conjunction with the festival. Donated baked goods (individually wrapped and priced) can be dropped off at the church. St. Matthew will also be raising funds by parking cars in the pasture behind the Warren Mills Cemetery. If you are attending, please consider parking in this location to support St. Matthew. For more information about volunteering either at the bake sale or by parking cars, please contact the church office.
